Earnest Endeavors to Help Animal Friends Are Never in Vain as Positive Outcomes May Unfold in Their Own Time 

Gratitude to God, gratitude to Master. My child has finally completed her first two-day Quan Yin retreat in life! Being a vegan since birth, she had been interacting with me since I first felt her fetal movement in my womb. I am also deeply grateful to God for granting me this gift. I often wonder how worthy am I to be blessed with the opportunity to raise God’s child.

Along the way, I have often prayed to God for inspiration and guidance, allowing me to educate my child well — guiding her to love the center, to regard Hsihu Ashram as her second home. I’d accompany her in meditation, take her around to have fun and eat delicious vegan food, and in places where it is inconvenient to eat vegan meals, I would instruct her on how to make good use of available resources, so that she can still have a good vegan meal.

I’m grateful to God that she would regularly share about veganism in class. To protect lovely animal-people, she will promote the goodness of a vegan diet whenever there is an opportunity, even when participating in competitions or activities. When she feels frustration, wondering why her classmates are unable to change their eating habits for the sake of the Earth and for animal-people, she will discuss it with us, read Master’s books, and watch Supreme Master TV programs, aspiring that a vegan world will arrive soon.

Because she has always held on to this dream, it is also reflected in the design concept of her university graduation project. She said, “Given the increasing frequency of disasters occurring on Earth, we have established a concept elementary school that fosters friendship with nature. We hope to start with children’s education, so that the next generation can rekindle their connection with nature, and in turn, cherish nature and care for animal-people!”

Gratitude to God. Under Your Guidance, she has also joined us in promoting veganism, allowing us to see new hope.
