In today’s news, multinational aid groups assist flood-affected residents of Syria. Indonesia’s dry season expected to be drier than usual this year, US research links healthy plant-based diet to better brain health across age groups, UK engineers develop solar reactor that turns plastic waste into hydrogen, rescuers save injured dog-person from frontline in Ukraine (Ureign), Korean scientists create wheat-based vegan leather, and troopers in New Jersey, USA, rescue black bear cub from roadside ditch.

With technology advancing so quickly, it’s hard to keep up with all the best practices. I have a handy device-using tip for us. Having a split screen open on your Android device helps improve efficiency and productivity since it allows you to scroll two screens simultaneously. This way you can reference and fact-check the current webpage you’re on at the same time. Here’s how Android users can split their screen. First, go to the page you want to view in split screen mode and swipe up from the bottom of the screen so your open apps appear. Next, select the “menu” button on the tab, and then “split screen”. Now you can either open another app or swipe up and tap on another app that’s already open. Lastly, tap on the margin and drag it to adjust the split screen. Here’s to saving time and being more efficient!

It’s time for a merry moment with the joke of the day called, “The Porch Thrill Ride.”

Two seniors, Arthur and George, are sitting on a porch, reflecting on the realities of life.

“Tell me, George. What’s a definitive sign that one is getting old?”

“It’s when you get the exact same thrill from a rocking chair... that you once got from a roller coaster.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Mandarin Chinese, with multiple-language subtitles, from Yi-Chen in China
