US President Trump announces on Sunday, June 14 that the US-Iran peace deal is complete, orders an immediate end to the US naval blockade and authorizes the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, as Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirms the agreement and says, “Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon,” adding that a formal signing ceremony will take place on June 19 in Switzerland after intensive regional mediation. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirms that the deal reached includes an immediate and permanent end to the war and all military operations on multiple fronts, including Lebanon, and says a 60day period of finaldeal negotiations will follow, with the ceasefire and end of the U.S. naval blockade taking effect immediately (Fox News/The Times of Israel)
The US Department of Health and Human Services [HHS] announces the “Never EVER” campaign to protect older Americans from abuse, exploitation, and imposter scams by strengthening prevention, reporting, enforcement, federal coordination, and public awareness. The campaign warns that real government agencies will never tell people to move money to “protect it,” demand unusual payments, or ask for a Social Security number to determine grant eligibility (HHS)
Australia confirms an October launch for the new Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek, a 24-hour facility expected to handle up to 10 million passengers a year and open new red-eye and international scheduling options as Jetstar, Qantas, Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines announce initial routes (Inside Retail)
Russian crude oil production falls in May to its lowest level in a year, as Ukraine (Ureign) intensifies attacks on Russian refineries, oil export ports, and pipelines. OPEC [Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries] data shows Russia is producing well below its quota, while reduced domestic refining capacity is pushing more Russian crude into seaborne exports, adding pressure to global energy markets (Tuổi Trẻ)
South Korea increasingly uses AI [artificial intelligence] companion dolls such as Hyodol to support lonely older adults living alone, as the country faces rapid aging, social isolation, and rising cases of “lonely deaths,” referring to older South Koreans who die alone and may go unnoticed for some time due to social isolation. The dolls can chat, sing, remind users to take medicine, offer emotional encouragement, and alert caregivers to possible problems, though some health workers warn families should not let AI replace real human care (Tuổi Trẻ)
Experts say dog-individuals bond deeply with humans because of thousands of years of co-evolution, during which dog-folks learned to read human emotions and social cues. Eye contact between humans and dog-people releases oxytocin, often called the “bonding hormone,” in both species, strengthening the connection much like parent-infant attachment. Trainers say the best way to deepen that bond is not through control, but through safety, trust, shared joy, sniffy walks, play, enrichment, calm routines, and understanding what each individual dog-person loves most (The Telegraph)
Nearly 6 million children and young people in England [UK] now have access to school-based mental health support teams — around 800,000 more students than last year — as the government reports improved well-being and attendance in participating schools and moves toward its pledge to extend this support to every school and college by 2029 (Gov.uk)
The UK government invests nearly £30 million to expand AI tools across the NHS [National Health Service], including £20 million to roll out AI-powered chest X-ray analysis to every NHS trust in England by 2029. Officials say the technology has already helped more than 4 million patients receive faster lung cancer diagnoses or all-clears, cutting scan analysis times from about eight days to four in complex cases (Gov.uk)
Taiwanese (Formosan) doctors warn that sleep apnea causes drowsy driving, significantly raising traffic accident risks. Experts urge people with symptoms such as loud snoring, morning headaches, chronic tiredness, or poor concentration to seek treatment early to reduce health complications and prevent road accidents (Taipei Times)
The first Ebola-linked deaths are confirmed at Kpangba camp in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo [DRC], raising transmission fears in overcrowded conditions. A mother and daughter die in the camp, which shelters 30,000 displaced people. The DRC reports 676 cases and 136 deaths as the virus spreads across three provinces and into Uganda. Aid agencies warn poor sanitation could accelerate the outbreak (Reuters)
India heightens health surveillance and contact tracing after detecting a new Nipah case in Kerala state. Because the virus carries a high fatality rate and causes severe respiratory symptoms, health officials urge public alertness. Authorities aim to prevent further transmission (VOV)
New research from the Technical University of Denmark finds iceberg volumes near Greenland have quadrupled over 25 years as warming accelerates glacier melt. Scientists say drifting ice raises risks for Arctic shipping and reshapes marine ecosystems by carrying rocks and sediment across long distances (VietnamPlus)
The South Fork Fire grows to about 9,352 hectares near Crawford, Nebraska [US], after igniting June 9. Wind, drought and dry vegetation drive its spread, prompting evacuations and a state of emergency. Crews report it 7% contained as of June 11, with no fatalities or injuries in the community (The Watchers)
Allergy experts say rising temperatures and longer growing seasons are extending pollen seasons across North America. Research shows seasons now last about 20 days longer with roughly 21% more pollen than three decades ago. Doctors recommend antihistamines, closed windows and showering after exposure (AOL)
The EU [European Union] launches the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy and Clean Tech Cooperation (T-MED) under the Pact for the Mediterranean, aiming to mobilize up to €25 billion by 2035 to expand renewable energy, hydrogen, clean-tech manufacturing, and modern electricity grids across Mediterranean EU and southern-Mediterranean partner countries, with the initiative expected to support regulatory reforms, deliver 15 gigawatts of new capacity, and generate more than 100,000 clean-energy jobs (European Commission)
A rare Duke of Burgundy butterfly population in Kent [UK] increases more than 90-fold over two decades — rising from fewer than 50 individuals in 2005 to nearly 600 in 2025 — after targeted habitat restoration led by Butterfly Conservation, Natural England, and local farmers, even as the species continues to decline sharply across the UK (BBC)
Residents of La Calera [Colombia] successfully campaign against Indega, a Coca-Cola FEMSA bottling subsidiary, after severe drought and water rationing expose concerns over the company’s spring water extraction. Local authorities renew the company’s concession but cut its water extraction rate and reduce the number of springs it can use, marking a rare environmental victory for local water defenders (The Guardian)

Enlightening quote of the day: “From anger comes delusion.” Lord Krishna (vegetarian) (TheGita.in)
Previously, in Parts 1 and 2 of Vania Valtriani’s near-death experience, Vania nearly died after a hemorrhagic stroke and saw herself outside her body during emergency surgery. She saw her deceased father surrounded by beautiful Light, appearing young, peaceful, and full of love. When he opened his arms to her, Vania told him, “I love you, Dad, but I’ll stay here with her” — because she was looking at her own body on the operating table and, in that moment, felt separate from it.
Then Vania returned to her body in terrible pain, unable to move, with something lodged painfully in her throat. As she prayed for help from the Lord, she felt a powerful presence beside her hospital bed, saw a tall Man with fire in His eyes, and first thought He might be an angel sent by the Lord. But when He took her hand, told her three times that everything would be all right, and surrounded her with a Love that took away her pain, Vania realized she was with Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian) She begged Him not to leave — and that was the last thing she remembered.
Vania woke to find her husband, youngest daughter, a nurse, and her best friend gathered around her. She was in pain and could no longer understand or speak Portuguese — only English — a reversal that lasted two to three weeks. She spent 40 days in the hospital relearning how to walk, balance, feed herself, and brush her hair. Her doctors, who had told her husband she would not survive, said her case could not be explained, and her follow-up care continued for five years before she was finally told she had nothing more to treat. Four years after the experience, after praying about it, Vania felt clearly moved to share her story and how it had changed her.
My fears are totally different. Example: I was afraid of dying. I was afraid of being killed. I was afraid to lose a son or a daughter or my mom. I was afraid to lose people that I love. I was afraid about many things in my life. I think that my only fear now is not being able to see Jesus again. I’m not afraid of anything else. My marriage is totally different now. I was always thinking about me, not him. I was always comparing him with other men, and he was losing. I was always asking for things for me; he has to do things for me to be happy. No. This is totally different. We are best friends. We are together more than ever, and we have been together for almost 40 years now.
My message is that you have to come to Jesus. He is your best friend. He is real. You have to come to Him because He can help you with any problem, any situation in your life. He can bring you any miracle if you come to Him. If you have a terminal disease, don’t be afraid. You will be much better than you are now. I can guarantee. If you are losing someone that you love, you have to remember something very important to help you be better, be happy, and have peace in this life. This body is a time for your spirit to live and learn some experiences that you will not have if you are only a spirit. You have to live your experience in this body on this Earth because it will help your spirit to improve. And if you lose someone to a terminal disease or something, this is not the end because God and Jesus, They don’t have you love people or have relationships with them— like your daughter, your mom, your sons, your grandma, or your grandpa— only on this Earth. You will see them again, and you will remember the relationship that you have here. They will still be your family, and you will still live together. So you will only be apart for a time, but you will be back together. I can guarantee — I saw my dad, he was alive. I am sure they are together making a party as Brazilian people, and they will make a very big party when I arrive there to celebrate. (AJ Parr Spiritual Journalist NDE Podcast)
